Australian consumer confidence increased for the third straight month in November 2020.

The number is at a seven-year high as consumers seem to be more optimistic about Australia’s economy as the global pandemic is getting under control there. According to the Westpac-Melbourne Institute index, customer sentiment had risen 11.9 percent in October and increased another 2.5 percent in November.

The index has spiked 11 percent over one year ago, and now the optimists are outweighing the pessimists.
